When I started my first home remodeling project, I had no idea what I was doing. When I stumbled across a step that I didn't understand, I simply guessed and made the best of it. Unfortunately, all of those guesses added up to one shoddily completed remodel. I knew that I had to get a little help with my home, so I hired a great general contractor.
